Poetry

Poems, often with a plate.

Published as Baruch. Hundreds of them, most still on Instagram. This page is the shelf they move onto.

Scope

The poems are part of the same life as the engineering, not a side brand. Themes run through spirituality, fathering, craft, and the ordinary day. A lot of them are short. Many ship with a graphic made for that poem.

Ira is the name on this site. Baruch is the name on the poems. Same person.

How it is filed

One record per poem. The shelf shows a summary: the plate, when there is one, and the text. The title opens the poem’s own page, which is the same component in full. If the plate is the poem and the post is only a hashtag, the text is read off the plate before the page is filed. A poem is listed only when a reader can open it here. The first filed set is poems already marked published in an old phone notebook, plus public Facebook plates tagged poem, poetry, or haiku when the OCR is clean. Weak plate reads stay private for review and are not listed here. Drafts from that notebook stay off this site. Instagram remains the larger archive.
