Ego vs Passion: Layers of Truth & My Journey

It is sometimes hard to distinguish between ego and passion. I am a philosopher, a lover of truth. I thoroughly enjoy discussions and mutual explorations of truth. This sometimes takes the form of passionately choosing a side of a discussion, so that the truth(s) can come out in the interplay.

But I want to say to anyone I'm interacting with that I do not judge you, or believe that I am right. I believe even that seemingly contradictory things can both be true. If I come across as critical, I'm just expressing where I am in my journey. For the most part, I'm very open to hearing (respectful) alternative interpretations.

If you're interacting with me, and feel that I'm being arrogant, or bringing my ego in, please let me know. I'll check my ego and / or make an effort to communicate less judgmentally.
