Baruch

On a mountain a proud tree stands
He says, your roots quite deeply lay
But time and life you can't withstand
Listen and I'll tell you my way
It eats your face when water flows
I drink it up, grow and transform
It carries you off when wind blows
I flex and sway but hold my form
For very long you will endure
But always shrinking, passing by
One day I will wither, for sure
But my children cover your side
